Acknowledging the fact that there are existing barriers to integrating technology within the government system, EdIndia was set up with a mission to “create tech-based solutions to impact the quality of education at scale”. It has incubation support from Sterlite Power and its Group Companies. EdIndia is also a member of the Global Collective for Digital Learning and SEL1 anchored by UNESCO.
EdIndia views its role as a system integrator, keen on designing and rolling out large-scale, Pan-India programs. As part of its aggressive scale-up plans, EdIndia is expanding its management team and is seeking to recruit a Manager- Operations. The proposed role will work centrally with the Head of the Foundation.

EdIndia Foundation is looking for a Manager- Operations to support the Lead- Operations in the implementation of EdIndia’s Teacher Education Programs in the project states. The role requires frequent coordination and interaction with the state teams of EdIndia and government stakeholders at the state level.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Lead, Operations in program designing, implementation, reviews, and related activities to achieve the defined goals and objectives of the EdIndia Foundation
• Work with other teams at EdIndia such as academics, strategic partnerships, technology, communication, and M&E to contextualize the inputs for the state and to provide the inputs from the state to the respective teams
• Implement pilot projects and test models for strengthening teacher education programs of the EdIndia Foundation
• Deeper and grassroots-level diagnostic of “WHAT and WHY of the gaps” and problem-solving
• Monitor the progress of the commitments made in the program MoUs with the various stakeholders at the state level
• Ensure regular data collection, improve data quality & reliability including independent data collection on KPIs, and conduct pilot studies aimed at improving the same
• Prepare timely and accurate reports, documenting the program’s progress, achievements, challenges, and financial utilization
• Document the quantitative and qualitative impact/outcomes of every intervention in the state
• Conduct regular on-ground visits to the program to support the program effectively

Qualifications & Experience:
▪ A minimum of 4 years of relevant Operations Management experience is required (Preferably in Education Sector)
▪ Masters in the relevant field of Management/Social Development/Education
Remuneration: Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
