Purpose and Scope of Position:

The position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the apprenticeship portal including the content, design, various modules, introducing new features, functionalities, undertaking testing and system improvement to meet the organization’s goals and standards.

Detailed Scope of Work

1. Plan, implement, manage and monitor the portal.

2. Identify and respond to the bugs that may be reported by various users in the Apprenticeship Portal.

3. Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.

4. Implement Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) scheme under NAPS

5. Handle technical queries, handhold stakeholders on DBT issues

6. In-depth knowledge of various modules in the apprenticeship portal and interaction within modules.

7. Work in collaboration with various users of Apprenticeship Portal including MSDE, State Government, Establishments, Candidates etc.

8. Work in close coordination with NSDC IT and the vendor assigned for Apprenticeship Portal in bringing about the changes in the portal.

9. Help in improving the overall user experience of the portal.

10. Liaising with MSDE and other Ministries/ Departments/ Agencies.

11. To work in close coordination with other wings of Industry Collaboration and with other verticals of NSDC.

12. To undertake Portal Demonstrations for various stakeholders to make them understand the various modules, process flow and functionality of the Apprenticeship Portal.

13. To handle grievances of stakeholders pertaining to Apprenticeship Training in general and Apprenticeship Portal in particular.

14. To undertake any other duties assigned by NSDC.

Selection Criteria

Qualifications:

A degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
An MBA/Masters in a relevant field is desirable.

2. Experience required:

4-6 years of experience of relevant experience.

3. Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an authentic, warm and professional approach.
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate a compelling case for support.
  • Good networking and Communication skills.
  • A self-starter with ability and drive to take new initiatives.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. o Fluency in speaking English and Hindi is required. Any vernacular language is desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable high level phone and email communications.
  • Confident to undertake public speaking and ability to adjust to presenting in formal (representing NSDC in Government meetings) and informal settings.
  • Open to travel across states. o Integrity, strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. o
  • Proactive, highly motivated and results driven. o Excellent attention to detail
