## Job Description: Manager, Regional Partnerships – Ahmedabad

**Position Summary**
The Manager, Regional Partnerships – Ahmedabad will be a crucial part of the Regional Partnerships Vertical, driving Teach For India’s initiatives with external stakeholders to create a sustainable impact on educational equity in the region. This role involves collaborating with social organizations, Teach For India Alumni, and working closely with Fellows, students, and school leaders within and outside Teach For India intervention schools to achieve the goals outlined in the Regional Strategic Roadmap.
**Responsibilities**
* **Fostering Alumni Collectives:**
* Execute the regional strategy for Alumni engagement, developing quarterly milestones and action plans to meet the regional roadmap goals.
* Design and curate learning and action spaces for regional Alumni to work collectively towards the regional vision.
* Nurture the growth and collaboration of Alumni organizations in the region.
* Build strong relationships with Alumni Entrepreneurs and the Regional Alumni Chapter committee to facilitate their progress.
* **Sourcing Career Opportunities:**
* Identify and engage with organizations serving children from low-income communities in the region to provide opportunities for them to interact with and hire from Teach For India’s Fellow and Alumni pool.
* Cultivate a pipeline of key Alumni in the region and match them with roles aligned with the regional vision and their personal aspirations.
* Build an ecosystem of donors and other relevant partners that accelerate Teach For India’s work in the region, especially where entry barriers are high.
* **Building a Movement for Educational Equity:**
* Engage School Leaders and Head Masters of partner schools and other schools in the region to deepen their understanding of Teach For India’s movement, create champions, and build more leaders.
* Visit partner schools and classrooms, building relationships and investing school stakeholders in Teach For India’s vision and mission.
* **Contribute to Team Goals:**
* Contribute to the overall team goals and priorities beyond individual objectives.
* **Serve as a Brand Ambassador:**
* Act as an ambassador for the Teach For India brand, advocating for their work and educational equity through both internal and external communication.
* **Support Key Organizational Areas:**
* Provide support for key organizational areas such as Recruitment, Selection, Fundraising, Volunteering, and Movement Building.
**Minimum Qualifications and Experience**
* 2-4 years of work experience managing teams and projects to achieve excellent outcomes at scale.
* Strong belief in the potential of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
* Proven ability to negotiate with diverse stakeholders towards Teach For India’s vision and desired outcomes.
* Experience in building strong relationships and influencing others without authority.
* Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in unstructured environments.
* Capability to manage self, team, and time amidst multiple priorities.
* Strong collaborative skills and ability to make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**
* Previous experience working in the development or education sector.
* Experience in building and managing high-functioning teams to achieve targeted outcomes.
* Experience in creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences and resources for adults through design thinking capabilities, addressing diverse learning needs.
* Regional language proficiency (preferred).
