## Manager / Senior Manager – Budgetary Control

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a **Manager / Senior Manager – Budgetary Control**. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our financial sustainability by managing budgets effectively, fostering collaboration with program teams, and providing timely reporting to donors.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Budget Management:** Prepare and manage annual budgets for various programs and the entire organization. Implement adequate controls, effective monitoring, and comprehensive reporting.
* **Donor Fund Utilization:** Manage the effective use of donor funds, including real-time visibility for program teams and donors. Prepare fund utilization reports.
* **Financial Analysis:** Analyze financial information like revenues, expenditures, and cash management to ensure all operations stay within budget.
* **Budget Modeling:** Design effective budget models for different programs and the overall company.
* **Budget Presentation:** Present annual budgets to senior managers.
* **Budget Forecasting:** Forecast future budget needs based on conversations with program heads and historical data.
* **Variance Analysis:** Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period.
* **Compliance Review:** Review the company’s budget for compliance with legal and FCRA regulations.
* **Deadline Management:** Ensure department managers meet budget submission deadlines.
* **Policy Development:** Design and implement effective budgeting policies and procedures.
* **Cashflow Management:** Manage cashflow effectively.
* **Donor Liaison:** Support in donor conversations and donor audits as needed.
* **Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with existing employees and other teams to achieve organizational goals.
**Qualifications:**
* **Education:** Professional qualification (CA / CMA) required.
* **Experience:** 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
* **Skills:**
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office packages, including Excel.
* Resourceful, responsible, and self-starting.
* Ability to manage data efficiently.
