**Job Summary:**
The Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing Bhumi’s financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial processes, compliance with regulations, and support of the organization’s mission. This role requires strong leadership, financial expertise, and a commitment to ethical and transparent financial management within the non-profit sector.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage accounts payable, including timely payments, vendor relationships, and compliance with organizational policies.
* Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, coordinating with HR.
* Supervise and mentor finance staff, providing guidance and training.
* Handle income tax and FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) matters, ensuring compliance.
* Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and support treasury functions.
* Lead audit processes, ensuring timely documentation and implementing process improvements.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
* 5-7 years of experience in financial management; non-profit experience preferred.
* Proven experience in statutory compliance (TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax), accounts payable, payroll management, and audits.
* Experience with donor reporting and trust/society accounting is highly desirable.
**Skills:**
* Strong understanding of Indian statutory regulations (TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax) and tax filings.
* Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books) and advanced MS Excel skills.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Knowledge of financial reporting, vendor management, and process improvement strategies.
* Ability to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
**Compensation:** 7 LPA – 9 LPA
