About The/Nudge

The/Nudge is an action institute working towards a poverty-free India, within our lifetime. We partner with governments, markets, and civil society to build resilient livelihoods for all. We are a collective of some of India’s best leaders and entrepreneurs from across the industry, academia, government, and development sectors, and our work is organized across three impact streams:

• Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (CSDE): exists to enable underprivileged youth to lead flourishing lives
• Centre for Rural Development (CRD): exists to enable families to come out of extreme poverty
• Centre for Social Innovation (CSI): exists to nudge top talent to solve India’s biggest challenges

About Asha Kiran

Asha Kiran – the hope project is rebuilding the lives of extremely poor affected post-COVID-19 via a network of credible non-profits in partnership with the government. The project targets poor rural women, migrant/construction laborer families to provide immediate and long-term support with women at the center and by building on SHG networks. The/Nudge is working with Uttar Pradesh’s State Rural Livelihood Missions, non-profits, and private sector organizations to help scale the livestock models targeting the poor.

At The/Nudge You Will

• understand user needs deeply and translate them into product requirements and specs
• be enthusiastic about travel to remote rural areas, meet with stakeholders and gather insights firsthand
• identify opportunities to build tech-first solutions as well as tech solutions that are enablers to rural development programs
• build and execute product roadmap for our rural development programs
• build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders (including government departments) to build the products
• conduct market research to identify solutions, gaps in the current solution, and proactively iterate designs and product roadmaps
• research, design, pilot, measure, and iterate

Apply If You Have

• a graduate, post-graduate degree
• 6-10 years of work experience preferably in tech product development
• passion to build technology products for India’s poorest to help them out of poverty
• positive and can-do attitude, hunger to learn, and a growth mindset
• comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities
• strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment
• willingness to travel in state and designated districts/block/panchayat as per the needs of the program’s goals
• written and spoken fluency in Hindi and English
