**Position Summary:**
The Convergence Foundation seeks experienced Managers and Senior Managers to lead Talent Acquisition for TCF and its partner organizations. This role requires a creative approach to lateral hiring, a strong network, and significant team management experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in scaling these organizations through strategic talent acquisition within the impact sector.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Strategic Talent Mapping: Identify and map job profiles to relevant talent pools across nonprofits, for-profit organizations, and academic institutions, focusing on managerial and senior managerial roles.
* Role Specification Development: Develop detailed and attractive job specifications based on a thorough understanding of complex role and skill requirements.
* Candidate Engagement: Proactively engage high-quality candidates (active and passive) leveraging extensive networks, innovative sourcing strategies, and strong partnerships.
* Database Management: Build and maintain a comprehensive candidate database to streamline the recruitment process and reduce reliance on external partners.
* Recruitment Strategy Implementation: Design and execute effective talent acquisition strategies tailored to the needs of different thematic areas and verticals.
* Candidate Selection Process: Oversee a robust selection process, including interviews, psychometrics, and reference checks, ensuring alignment with organizational values.
* Lifecycle Recruitment Management: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, optimizing each phase for efficiency and effectiveness.
**Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:**
* **Educational Background:** Undergraduate or master’s degree from a top-tier institution in business, industrial/organizational psychology, human resources, communications, or a related field.
* **Professional Experience:** 6-12 years of experience in talent management, with significant team management responsibilities in high-stakes environments.
* **Networking & Relationship Building:** Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, with a talent for attracting top-tier candidates.
* **Communication & Presentation Skills:** Strong communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying information to internal and external stakeholders.
* **Strategic Planning:** Advanced planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, plan timelines, and meet deadlines in a managerial context.
* **Personal Characteristics:** Innovative, proactive, adaptable, a quick learner, collaborative, a strong leader, and possessing sensitivity and discretion.
