The Human Resources (HR) function plays a pivotal role within CSF, serving as a strategic partner to drive the success of our employees and the overall organization. Talent Acquisition is a mission-critical function that drives the success of our organization by sourcing, engaging, and acquiring exceptional talent. As a Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, from conducting targeted searches to conducting interviews and extending offers. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies, building a robust candidate pipeline, and leveraging structured thinking to streamline the hiring process.

Position Summary 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Manager – Talent Acquisition to become an integral part of our dynamic organization. You will be entrusted with the essential responsibility of overseeing the entire recruitment process for key teams. Your primary focus will be on attracting and acquiring top-tier talent across India that not only possesses the skills and expertise and also aligns seamlessly with our organization’s culture.

Key responsibilities 

  • Drive the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies in the social impact sector (specifically education), aimed at attracting and retaining exceptional professionals to drive forth CSF’s vision
  • Forge collaborative partnerships with hiring managers and key stakeholders to gain deep insights into recruitment needs, skill requirements, and organizational values.
  • Take the lead in the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying the right candidate pools to sourcing to organizational mapping to conducting rigorous candidate assessments and managing offer negotiations.
  • Harness diverse recruitment channels, including social media platforms, networks, and relevant organizations, to reach mission-aligned candidates from various backgrounds.
  • Proactively build and nurture a robust talent pipeline, fostering strong relationships with potential candidates and establishing a wide network of social impact professionals in education.
  • Implement best practices in candidate assessment, ensuring a meticulous evaluation process that identifies individuals who align with our organization’s mission and possess the necessary skills.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion as cornerstones of our recruitment efforts, promoting equitable access and fostering opportunities for all groups.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging recruitment practices, and developments within the social impact sector to continually refine and elevate our talent acquisition strategies.
  • Establish and meticulously track key recruitment metrics to gauge the efficacy of talent acquisition efforts, identify areas for enhancement, and furnish regular, insightful reports to stakeholders.

What would make you a good fit for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition (4-6 years would be ideal). Experience in the social impact sector will be advantageous and help navigate the space better.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
  • Passion for social impact and a deep understanding of the sector’s unique talent needs and challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively engage candidates and stakeholders.

Compensation: Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
