Project Chhalang, an initiative by ELMS Sports Foundation is looking for a person to lead the technological innovation and development of the organisation. We are currently initiating projects to integrate technology more efficiently and seamlessly into every layer of the functioning of the organisation. This includes small initiatives to create digital content as well as partnering with third parties to create more comprehensive digital platforms. The current opening is for a position to lead and anchor all of these activities involving technology.

Location: New Delhi (With occasional travel to project locations)

Nature of Engagement: Consultancy Contract

Roles and Responsibilities:

The key roles and responsibilities of the position will be:

  • To anchor the entire activity on technological platforms for the organisation, including-
  • Liaisoning with a partner organisation (technology development partner) to create an all-in-one application for the organisation;
  • Maintain the smooth functioning of the organisational activities involving technology;
  • Maintaining the database gathered on technology and smooth transaction of the data and results for different functions of the team;
  • Working closely with the leadership team to support them build and work with efficient technological systems;
  • Working with the field teams to understand their needs and challenges in technology adaption and create and maintain user-friendly tech systems for the organisation;
  • Working with the team to develop technological outlook and approach of the field teams and other program teams overall;

Desired Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

  • A suitable candidate must have a degree in technology or some equivalent degree (B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA etc.);
  • A suitable candidate must have proficiency in languages like JAVA, C++, Python, SQL;
  • A suitable candidate must have experience of 2-4 years in managing technological verticals and projects;
  • A suitable candidate must have strong people management skills, especially to handle different types of external stakeholders;
  • Working experience or familiarity with the social development sector is desirable Strong writing skill, especially report writing for different purposes and stakeholders is desirable;
  • A candidate must demonstrate a strong motivation for social change, a hunger for learning and working in collaborations, and strong integrity towards the vision and purpose of the organisation and the sector in general

Proposed compensation range:

The remuneration will be in the range of Rs.7,00,000 to 8,00,000 annually.
