**Roles & Responsibilities:**
* Identify and assess emerging AI trends, technologies, policies, and initiatives, aligning them with national strategic objectives.
* Design policies fostering safe and trusted AI development, aligned with AI priorities.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Safe & Trusted AI initiative, setting objectives, metrics, and timelines.
* Ensure timely, in-scope, and on-budget execution of projects under the Safe & Trusted AI initiative.
* Provide guidance on policy interventions to support the Datasets Platform initiative.
* Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, state governments, the scientific community, and industry stakeholders.
* Contribute to policy papers, briefings, and communication materials related to AI technologies and policies.
* Advance India’s interests in global AI cooperation, fostering collaboration among international institutions and stakeholders.
* Represent IndiaAI at national and international forums, conferences, and working groups.
* Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on program status, challenges, and achievements.
* Lead and mentor a team of consultants and staff members.
