The Manager will drive significant National / Internationally recognized days to celebrate volunteerism, to maximize Bhumi’s volunteer outreach.
He/She will be responsible for recruiting, managing, coaching and retaining volunteer leaders to maximise volunteer activation and retention.
The successful candidate will be a key driver of the program’s mission to ‘make volunteering a national habit.

Role and Responsibilities:

Build strategies to maximise volunteer engagement (10x) and outreach in the next 2-3 years
Engage all internal stakeholders and partners in shaping shared goals and milestones for the programme to maximise volunteer engagement
Build systems, processes, culture, and the team (employees and volunteers) to support efficient and effective day-to-day functioning with a focus on continuous learning, improvement, and rapid growth
Recruit & groom volunteer leaders to lead campaigns and support their Learning and Development (L&D)
Build and Execute strategies to increase repeat volunteering by the volunteers activated during campaigns in other Bhumi programmes.

Educational Qualification/Experience:

Educational Degree : Any Graduate, or post graduate

Relevant Experience(in years) : 3-5

Knowledge & Skill sets required

Exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
Willing to travel extensively
Excellent track record of effectively leading and regionally and/or nationally scaling a performance- and outcomes-based project
Proven experience in partnership development, recruitment, or a related field, preferably within the education and non-profit sector.
Should be entrepreneurial, have a growth mindset, excited by challenges and open to learning
Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective partnership strategies with a passion for social impact
Excellent communication skills – English, Hindi, and/or Tamil
Proactive, Self-Monitored, Resourceful, Accountable
Problem-solving and Data driven Decision-making skills are essential
