## Job Description: Manager – Women-Led Sustainable Enterprise Development

**Job Location:** Jhasi, India
**Experience Required:** 6 to 8 years of experience in program management, particularly in supporting women entrepreneurs in non-traditional sectors or social enterprises.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager for Women-Led Sustainable Enterprise Development to design, implement, and manage programs supporting women-led non-traditional businesses. This role will focus on sustainable development, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sustainable business practices and the unique challenges faced by women in non-traditional industries.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Program Development and Management:**
* Design, implement, and manage programs supporting women-led non-traditional businesses that foster sustainable development.
* Develop innovative business models aligned with organizational goals, monitoring and evaluating outcomes to ensure they meet sustainability and economic impact objectives.
* Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of skill development and capacity building projects from inception to completion.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Prepare comprehensive reports on project outcomes and standards.
* **Stakeholder Engagement:**
* Build and maintain partnerships with local communities, NGOs, social enterprises, and government agencies to support women entrepreneurs.
* Organize events and workshops to connect entrepreneurs with customers, investors, and mentors, facilitating networking opportunities.
* **Capacity Building:**
* Create and facilitate training programs focusing on skills development, innovative business practices, and market access strategies for women entrepreneurs.
* Provide mentorship to enhance the capacity of women-led enterprises for sustainable growth and innovation.
* **Research and Advocacy:**
* Conduct research to identify trends and challenges in non-traditional business sectors for women entrepreneurs.
* Use research findings to advocate for policies that support the growth of women-led businesses and promote gender equity in entrepreneurship.
* **Budget and Resource Management:**
* Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation for sustainable initiatives.
* Identify funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships, to sustain and expand program efforts.
* **Monitoring and Reporting:**
* Track program progress, sustainability metrics, and impact assessments for stakeholders and funding partners.
* Document best practices and success stories to share insights and contribute to continuous improvement within the organization and the broader community.

**Risk Management:**
* Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
**Reporting and Coordination:**
* Report to the Assistant Programme Director in DAHQ.
* Coordinate with the corporate Communication and Knowledge Management unit for outcome and impact data collection, collation, and analysis.
* Coordinate all administrative issues with respective departments.
**Desired Qualification and Skills:**
* Master’s degree in business administration, Environmental Studies, or Social Sciences.
