**Position Summary:**

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to design, implement, and manage programs supporting women-led non-traditional businesses.  This role requires a strong understanding of sustainable development principles, capacity building techniques, and stakeholder engagement strategies.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative business models, managing budgets, providing mentorship, and advocating for policies that promote women entrepreneurs.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* **Program Development and Management:** Design, implement, and manage programs supporting women-led non-traditional businesses focused on sustainable development. Develop innovative business models, monitor and evaluate program outcomes, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.  Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and outcomes.

* **Stakeholder Engagement:** Build and maintain strong partnerships with local communities, NGOs, social enterprises, and government agencies. Organize events and workshops to connect women entrepreneurs with customers, investors, and mentors.

* **Capacity Building:** Create and facilitate training programs focused on skills development, innovative business practices, and market access strategies for women entrepreneurs. Provide mentorship to enhance the capacity of women-led enterprises.

* **Research and Advocacy:** Conduct research to identify trends and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in non-traditional sectors. Advocate for policies that support the growth of women-led businesses and promote gender equity.

* **Budget and Resource Management:** Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Identify funding opportunities to sustain and expand program efforts.

* **Monitoring and Reporting:** Track program progress, sustainability metrics, and impact assessments. Document best practices and success stories.

* **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

* **Reporting and Coordination:** Report to the Assistant Programme Director. Coordinate with the corporate communication and knowledge management unit for data collection and analysis. Coordinate administrative issues with relevant departments.

 

 

**Qualifications and Experience:**

 

* Master’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.

* 6-8 years of experience in program management, with a focus on supporting women entrepreneurs in non-traditional sectors or social enterprises.
