About Social Alpha
Social Alpha is a multistage innovation curation and venture development platform for science and technology start-ups that aim to address the most critical social, economic, and environmental challenges. Social Alpha architecture includes product innovation labs, venture incubators, grand challenges, accelerator programmes, capital pools and market access mechanisms. It also provides early-stage equity capital as well as non-dilutive grants for pilots, validations, market access and scale-up programmes. Since its inception in 2016, Social Alpha has supported more than 200 start-ups including 60+ seed investments.
Job Description
Social Alpha is looking for a top-performing, innovative and creative individuals with a passion to influence the global development agenda. We expect you to have strong written and graphical skills and be able to independently contribute to supporting and scaling new concepts, communication products and strategies to expand our existing portfolio. We highly value candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter attitude.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in account/client servicing
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, journalism, marketing, communications, media studies, or a related field with an excellent academic record
- Creative mindset and an ability to communicate compellingly in written and visual form
- Structured thinker and good at managing processes
- Experience working in high paced environments
- Understanding of running social media campaigns, including analysis of data
- Skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro Preferable
- Experience working in WordPress and Squarespace Preferable
- Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Preferable
