**Job Description: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Associate – Peepul**
**Location:** Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India

**Experience Required:**
– **Education:** A relevant background in international development, statistics, education, public policy, economics, or a related field.
– **Work Experience:** 2-4 years of experience in the private or public sector, particularly in research management, monitoring, and evaluation within the development sector. Prior experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, conducting impact evaluations, and using data to inform program design and decision-making is essential.
– **Skills:** Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including proficiency with tools like SPSS, Stata, R, Alteryx, Python, or advanced Excel. Excellent problem-solving abilities and statistical analysis skills are required.
– **Language Proficiency:** Fluency in English and Hindi.
**Responsibilities:**
– Execute the organization’s MEL strategy to contribute to sector leadership in impact measurement.
– Collaborate on monitoring and impact evaluations, both internally and with external agencies, analyzing findings to inform program design.
– Implement systems and processes to enhance MEL practices and program cycles.
– Support the design of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools for Peepul programs.
– Conduct regular data collection and analysis, using automation/visualization tools to present insights to internal and external stakeholders.
– Ensure timely implementation of monitoring projects with a focus on quality assurance and data validity.
– Interpret data to inform program design and implementation, incorporating learnings into continuous improvement processes.
– Develop and update data dashboards for projects in collaboration with partners.
– Contribute to research projects aimed at building evidence to inform practitioners, funders, and policymakers in the education sector.
