Job Description
This is a remote position.
About the position:
We are looking for an individual seeking to work at the intersection of health and Technology. The role requires an interest in designing and implementing research for the monitoring, learning and evaluation of telemedicine interventions. The MLE officer will be responsible for collection, tracking, cleaning and analysis support, assisting the development and execution of activities that will be vital to setting up a robust MLE system for all projects within the organization.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of the project log frame, particularly in the areas of performance indicators and their measurement
- Ensure day to day coordination of research and project activities as well as updates with program team and other stakeholders
- Develop tools and data collection instruments as per project need
- Provide support in Piloting, Tool Designing, training and data analysis
- Assist in data management and monitor data quality for project
- Conduct secondary research on frameworks, indicators, research approaches and methods
- Review and update programs org dashboard on a monthly basis
- Ensure compliance across organization regarding MLE Tasks
- Produce reports on MLE findings and prepare presentations based on MLE data as required
- Supervision of field investigators and vendor management
- Coordination with team members for monitoring and evaluating project
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the MLE Manager.
- The incumbent will have to supervise field investigators, research interns and external vendors for project completion and quality control as per the needs of the project.

Role Specifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Masters degree in public health, social work, statistics, demographics, public policy, international development, economics, or any other field.
Experience:
- 2+ years, preferably in the social sector. Candidates must have a basic understanding of research methods.
- Experience working in a development sector
- Prior experience in an M&E position or managing research projects is needed.
- Prior experience in supervising and managing data collection
- Prior experience in the health sector preferred
Skill Sets:
- Quantitative and/or Qualitative research
- Proficient in excel
- MS office/ G suite proficient
- Project management skills
- Strong writing skills – preference will be given to those candidates that have contributed to developing reports

- Basic knowledge of statistical or qualitative analysis software is a plus
