**Job Description: Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst (Nationals Only)**
**Location:** New Delhi, India

**Position Purpose:**
The Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst will support the Programme Management and Support Unit (PMSU) in designing and implementing robust M&E systems aligned with UNDP’s policies. The role involves ensuring evidence-based decision-making, fostering innovation, and aligning programme delivery with national development priorities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Provide technical support for programme quality assurance, risk monitoring, and compliance with UNDP policies.
– Lead the monitoring of programmes and projects under the Country Programme.
– Conduct evaluations to assess programme effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability.
– Ensure gender-disaggregated data is included in monitoring systems and evaluations.
– Support capacity development and knowledge sharing on M&E practices.
– Manage corporate reporting requirements and contribute to results-oriented reports.
**Required Qualifications:**
– **Education:** Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Business Management, International Relations, or Economics with 2 years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience.
– **Experience:** Minimum 2 years (with Master’s) or 4 years (with Bachelor’s) of relevant experience in M&E, programme management, and working with quality assurance instruments. Experience in integrating gender-sensitive indicators is desired.
– **Languages:** Fluency in English and Hindi.
