**Job Location:** Bengaluru, India (with potential travel to field sites)

**About the Role:**

 

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Lead will develop the organization’s impact measurement strategy, design M&E frameworks, leverage research findings, and support data needs.  This role requires a proactive approach to building evidence of program impact through robust data structures and documentation.

 

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

 

* Develop the organization’s impact measurement strategy in collaboration with leadership.

* Build evidence for Mantra’s programs by supporting data needs and developing impact documentation structures.

* Design M&E frameworks for programs in conjunction with the research and design team.

* Plan and collaborate on data collection with field teams and organizations.

* Design and distribute M&E templates and resources.

* Partner with organizations for impact analyses, data collection, and research.

* Consolidate and analyze data to generate program insights and reports.

* Present reports and insights as needed.

* Document processes and create reports.

* Develop data dashboards to showcase program progress.

* Build the team’s capacity for research and evidence-informed solutions.

* Collaborate closely with program teams and external partners.

 

 

**Experience and Competencies Required:**

 

* 3+ years of experience leading design efforts for education interventions.

* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to develop and facilitate workshops and capacity-building programs, and to influence and motivate others.

* Willingness to learn in uncertain situations.

* Strong planning and time management skills.

* Proficiency in Python/R, Stata, and SQL.

* Excellent written and spoken English.
