**Job Title:** Monitoring & Evaluation Officer  

**Location:** Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India

PATH is a global nonprofit dedicated to achieving health equity. We are currently seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation (MEL) Officer for our project in Uttar Pradesh, India. The MEL Officer will support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms for vector-borne disease control programs, including Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES), LF, VL, Dengue-Chikungunya, and Malaria.

 

**Role and Responsibilities:**  

– Facilitate the establishment of standard tools and processes for MEL activities.  

– Implement the M&E plan and monitor project progress.  

– Improve data collection systems and mechanisms.  

– Coordinate with state program officers for smooth implementation.  

– Review project data to support planning and decision-making.  

– Capacity build project staff and facilitate review meetings/workshops.  

– Provide technical support in quality assurance, data management, and analytics.  

– Monitor the timeliness and completeness of data reporting from Blocks & Districts.  

 

**Skills and Experience:**  

– Postgraduate degree (MBA/MCA/PGDCA) with public health or statistics as an advantage.  

– Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, CSPro/ODK.  

– 5+ years of work experience in government systems for data management and analysis.  

– Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI) and GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS).  

– Experience working with state surveillance units or communicable diseases departments in Uttar Pradesh is a plus.

– Planning, monitoring, and organizational skills.  

– Facilitation and ability to work independently under pressure.
