**Job Title:** National Lead, PMU

**Experience Required:** Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in large-scale education projects, preferably with a focus on government partnerships and financial management.  

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of Quality Education initiatives under the SPMU mandate.

– Provide strategic guidance to the SPMU team in Ranchi on activities including FLN reform, Balvatika initiatives, district implementation support, communication, documentation, and assessments.

– Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with project goals and Room to Read’s standards.

– Represent the project in national and international forums to showcase outcomes and best practices.

– Oversee donor management, reporting, and compliance with donor expectations.

– Act as the key interface between Room to Read and government departments at national and state levels.

– Mentor and build capacity of project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

 

**Qualifications:**

– Master’s degree in education, social sciences, social work, or management.

– Strong background in working with governments on large-scale education projects.

– Financial management expertise, including budgeting and expenditure tracking.

– Experience leading diverse teams in areas such as content development, teacher training, research, and program implementation.

– Excellent managerial, interpersonal, and communication skills.
