• *Duties and Responsibilities** –
- Plan, implement and delegate all scheduled tasks at the project level.
- – Ensure plastic waste collection by providing data on the quantity of plastic, segregation, and processing efficiency.
- – Responsible for Plastic Waste Collection and Processing, Business Development, Monthly Plastic Tonnage Increase, Data Management & Reporting,
- – Develop new channels for collections, processing, the addition of new scrap dealers, coordination, and data management.
- – Evaluate efficiency, quality, effectiveness, and results of operations & focus on constant improvement or Kaizen.
- – Record and report all project-related income and expenditures & be responsible for P&L; of the plant.
- – Supervise and train Green Workers and Supervisors, mediate between them, and respond to complaints.
- – Liaise with similar organizations and government bodies to tackle waste management issues.
- • *Job Requirement** Skills & Expertise –
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Business Administration, or Engineering
- – 3+ years experience in supervising operations, strategizing process improvements, and managing field workers in a Material Recovery Facility (MRF)
- – Understand the rates and quality of different types of waste materials available in the market.
- – Be passionate about the environment and a cleaner Himalayas.
- – Willingness to work extensively on the field in difficult weather conditions.
- – Basic knowledge of solid waste management, extended producer responsibility, and eagerness to learn more.
- – Regional knowledge & work experience in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh preferred.
