**Job Title:** Operations Lead

**Location:** Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India (Onsite role requiring frequent travel to schools, government offices, and other stakeholder locations. Fluency in Hindi (verbal and reading) is required.)

**About Involve Learning Solutions Foundation:**

Involve Learning Solutions Foundation was founded by IIT graduates with a vision to reimagine education by empowering school students.  They aim to reach 1 million students within 5 years using a peer-learning-teaching approach.  The organization has already worked with over 22,000 students across India, improving learning outcomes and fostering leadership skills through peer teaching programs focusing on foundational literacy, numeracy, and project-based learning. Involve is supported by prominent institutions such as the Central Square Foundation, Nudge Foundation, Wells Fargo, and TFIx.  Their core program involves students (ages 12-16) mentoring their juniors in public schools.

**Job Description:**

The Operations Lead will manage the end-to-end implementation of Involve’s Student Agency program within a designated district. This includes planning and implementing peer-based programs, working with Block Resource Centers, and ensuring successful program outcomes.  Key responsibilities include:

**Implementation:**

* Understanding existing program structures for efficient implementation.

* Training District, Block, and Cluster Resource Centers on Student Agency and project-based learning.

* Regular interaction with stakeholders, including site visits to schools to monitor program quality and identify implementation gaps.

* Designing and creating programs aligned with Involve’s vision, collaborating with the Program Design team.

* Leading strategic planning, goal setting, and intervention to overcome challenges and ensure successful project delivery.

**Relationship Management:**

* Building and maintaining relationships with district and block-level officials (DM, DEO, DPOs, DIET Principal, Block Education Officers).

* Engaging government officials through regular reporting, communication, and collaborative action planning.

* Identifying other CSOs working in schools to address shared needs.

**Documentation and Reporting:**

* Documenting and reporting program progress, challenges, and gaps monthly.

* Adapting tools and surveys to evaluate and collect data on stakeholder responses.

* Analyzing feedback to improve program effectiveness and implementation.

* Creating monthly reports for funders and government stakeholders.

**Experience Required:** 2-4 years of experience in the education sector, with a proven track record of team management.

**Education:**  An undergraduate degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

**Skills:**  Strong planning and organizational skills; experience with on-the-ground work; comfort with extensive travel; patience and persistence; ability to leverage relationships to achieve goals; clear and effective communication; strong data collection, analysis, and statistical knowledge; ability to establish operational data structures; strong work ethic (punctuality, responsibility, self-motivation).  Passion for education and mentoring school children is essential.

**Compensation:** INR 4-5 LPA CTC (Negotiable based on experience and fit)
