## Job Description: Operations Officer
**About Digital Green:**
Digital Green is a non-profit organization working to improve the lives of smallholder farmers across the developing world. They leverage technology and innovative approaches to empower farmers with the knowledge and tools they need to increase their productivity and incomes.
**Job Location:** Bangalore, Karnataka, India
**Experience Required:** 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Administration, Logistics, & Travel Management:**
* Manage fixed assets, including purchase, documentation, and maintenance.
* Ensure office housekeeping and upkeep, and purchase office supplies.
* Support staff with international and domestic travel bookings, logistics, and visas.
* Identify and manage relationships with trusted travel vendors.
* Handle all travel arrangements for visitors to the office and events in the region.
* **Finance:**
* Maintain imprest account expenses and ledger, submitting required documentation to Finance.
* Serve as a liaison to staff on finance policies, processes, expense coding, payment status, and travel advances.
* Submit vendor invoices with all required supporting documentation for timely payment processing.
* Support internal and external audits as needed.
* **Procurement:**
* Process all procurements and contracting for the Engineering, Tech & Product team, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
* Purchase laptops for new staff.
* **Systems + IT:**
* Manage systems and software administration / access for the Engineering, Tech & Product team.
* Collaborate with the global team to facilitate systems transitions and deliver training.
* Purchase laptops / hardware according to required specifications and policy.
* Coordinate with the IT team for hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting.
* **New initiatives:**
* Support internal communications and ad hoc projects as needed.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent / relevant experience.
* Experience with or interest in using systems to support processes.
* Tech-savvy; experience with intranet and / or workplace communication tools a plus.
* Operations / admin, finance, or IT experience a plus.
* Excellent time management and project management skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
* Willingness to roll up sleeves and assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed, including courier services and other office duties.
* Experience or interest in working in diverse teams, including across cultures / countries / time zones.
* Willingness to work outside of normal business hours (to accommodate meetings with international colleagues).
