**Job Description: Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Analyst (SB4)**  

**Location:** New Delhi, India

**Position Overview:**  

The Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Analyst will work under the guidance of the Partnerships Specialist to craft a strategic framework for corporate engagement, fostering enduring alliances, harnessing corporate influence, and advocating for gender parity. The role involves collaborating with program and operations teams, government entities, bilateral and multilateral donors, and civil society to ensure the effective implementation of UN Women’s initiatives.  

 

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– Develop and execute strategies to mobilize resources effectively, including identifying funding opportunities, cultivating donor relationships, and securing financial support from both traditional donors and private sector entities.  

– Analyze funding trends and private sector priorities to tailor resource mobilization efforts accordingly.  

– Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in donor relationships and develop risk management strategies.  

– Establish and maintain effective communication channels with donors and private sector partners, providing regular updates on organizational activities, impact, and financial stewardship.  

– Develop and implement strategic donor engagement plans to deepen relationships and enhance donor loyalty.  

– Identify opportunities for private sector involvement in programmatic initiatives and advocacy campaigns, aligning with UN Women’s mission and objectives.  

 

**Qualifications:**  

– **Education:** Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Management, social sciences, human rights, gender/women’s studies, or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree in combination with four years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.  

– **Experience:** At least 2 years of progressively responsible work experience in resource mobilization, strategy development, proposal writing, donor reporting, and database management is required. Experience in risk assessment, donor engagement, and communications is desirable.  

– **Language Requirements:** Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) is desirable.
