Roles and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a steady pipeline of jobs for 1200 NavGurukul students completing the course in the coming year, and growing this pipeline as NavGurukul grows
  • Nurturing existing partnerships with various companies and building channels for re-hiring through regular cadences, feedback loops and active engagement
  • Building new partnerships with companies looking to hire freshers from different backgrounds
  • Negotiate with partners to advocate for more inclusive hiring norms that allow for our students to get an equal chance
  • Staying updated and understanding market trends in depth that influence hiring and creating relevant strategies for Placements
  • Identifying and tracking metrics for Placements and ensuring a steady feedback loop with
  • Academics and Program functions to ensure better hiring
  • Representing NavGurukul in various forums and identifying champions of the cause across different corporate or tech communities
  • Encouraging ideas, initiatives and problem-solving within the team and driving collective outcomes with team accountability

  • Vast network in the industry with strong connections across different MNCs and/or start-ups

  • Demonstrated team management experience with clear outcomes achieved along with a team
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience. Ideally, experience in a recruitment or placement role for any MNC or start-up
  • Curiosity and motivation to expand your own knowledge and competence
  • Problem-solving, mediation, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
    Location:
  • This role would be remote, and you can work from anywhere. You will, however, be required to travel on a periodic basis to meet with potential partners, do mobilisation drives, etc. As a member of the partnerships team, it is also beneficial for you to occasionally stay on one of our campuses to gain a deeper understanding of the residential program, which in turn enhances the quality of partnerships you can cultivate.
  • You can expect to travel around 30 – 40 per cent of your time to cover the above needs and this can be more or less in some months, depending on the needs of the role at that time. 

Compensation And  Culture:

  • NavGurukul’s salaries are at par with most not-for-profits in the country. For this role, the salary bracket is 8.4 – 9.5 lakhs per annum.
  • We are also open to hiring for more senior roles in the same function.
