IHAT collaborates closely with state governments, focusing on areas such as HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (RMNCH), nutrition, and health systems strengthening.
**Job Summary:**
The Planning and Finance Expert will lead financial planning, resource mobilization, and strategic program development for lead poisoning prevention initiatives in Uttar Pradesh. This role involves designing evidence-based programs, budgeting, and working with government agencies to optimize resource allocation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Program Planning & Implementation:** Design and scale lead poisoning prevention programs aligned with evidence-based practices.
– **Regulatory & Health System Assessment:** Evaluate regulatory frameworks and healthcare systems to identify gaps and inform program priorities.
– **Monitoring & Evaluation:** Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of lead remediation efforts and ensure continuous improvement.
– **Financial Planning & Budget Management:** Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation for compliance with regulations. Coordinate with government finance departments for budget integration.
– **Strategic Advisory:** Provide expertise to guide decision-making and drive long-term sustainability.
**Qualifications:**
– Minimum of five years’ experience in public health or policy planning, with expertise in financial management and resource planning in India.
– Education: MBA or PhD in a relevant field.
**Competencies:**
– Expertise in public health planning and financial management.
– Strong understanding of resource mobilization and budget allocation.
– Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment.
– Proficiency in MS Office tools for budgeting and reporting.
