Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Experience for working on software tools LAMP, versioning and bug reporting tools, web anddatabase security

2. Experience in cross platform development, worked on products or technologies that havescalable
architectures.

3. Understanding and experience in complete SDLC from functional & technical specifications, documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployments

4. Understanding of W3C Web Standards/Semantics and Accessibility Guidelines

5. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}

6. Should be proficient in Database with specific understanding of RDBMS like PostgreSQL,MySQL (or similar)

7. Development and operation of portals on different platform/ CMS based websites to ensureproper  working of the same.

8. Designing and developing front-end and back-end web architecture, including APIs.

9. Undertaking navigation analysis and browser compatibility assessments and testing.

10. Ensuring proper operation of the portals at all times including the maintenance thereof.

11. Updating various dashboards and other relevant content on the portals.

12. Track and report on all site metrics (user analytics) and forthcoming developments monthly.

13. Take necessary initiatives to ensure consistent increase of the user base of portals.

14. Undertaking and improving search engine optimization (SEO) results for the portals.

15. Respond to any queries that are received on portals regarding the usage thereof.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Excellent knowledge in at least one CMS like WordPress or headless CMS strapi based web development.

2. Thorough understanding and proven abilities in JavaScript, Relevant libraries of Python,HTML, CSS, Stack Developer, CSS, DBMS, SQL, Relevant cybersecurity certifications.

3. Working Experience of relational databases, version control tools and of developing webservices using REST and SOAP architecture

4. Profound knowledge of documentation like requirement specifications, manuals and otherproject related documents

5. Worked in every aspect of SDLC.

6. Proven abilities in testing (Alpha, beta, user).

7. Ability to independently lead and execute projects

8. Advanced Excel skills, Word and PowerPoint skills.

9. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

10. Ability to independently lead and execute projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• 5+ years hands-on experience in relevant domain.

• Experience in work experience in large corporates or any govt. organization in the IT domain.
