Under Impact Guru, Policy Guru/Carepal is an Insurtech startup. Insurance penetration in India is a huge problem. About only 20% of India has some form of health insurance. As an individual, you would have had some exposure to health insurance via policy bazaar, an agent who is generally a relative or your bank. Yet, you haven’t bought it today. Why?

This is the problem we are trying to solve by creating innovative products in this space.

Roles & Responsibilities

To co-ordinate with stake holders to create design and deliver elegant user experiences that facilitate the capture of business impact.
To ensure highest level of client satisfaction.
Research, identify and articulate customer needs.
Define the product strategy and roadmap and to lead the development of the roadmap by conducting best practice research, survey data, & analysing the competitive environment and understanding key product metrics.
Formulation and development of the product strategy, roadmap and development calendar by providing support in analysing and validating organisation & customer requirements.
Responsible for reporting and assessing a log of proposed enhancements, major complaints and identified gaps for existing products to ensure continuous product portfolio improvements.
Conduct ongoing analysis of existing product suites, associated target markets/competitors to provide in-depth industry, market and competitive analysis to assist in the identification and evaluation of new product opportunities.
Work closely with all departments as necessary (sales, training, customer service) to assist and drive development of sales collaterals & advice tools, customer presentations, sales training materials and other product marketing collaterals that optimally positions, communicates the strengths of our products.
Work alongside the product and tech team and build an effective solution to collate and display information in a seamless and simple way.
Liaising with Insurance companies for Integration, legal & compliances and other product initiatives
Plan the product mix with Insurance companies to be focused at regular intervals.
Create a repository of all Insurance policies along with their policy documents.
Ensure we have the best product, price offerings and support from Insurance companies.
