## Program Associate – Communication and Event Management

**Program Overview for Sustainable Cities and Transport**
At WRI India Ross Center, we focus on 10 integrated solutions to urban challenges. Through applied research, tools, hands-on advice, and our network of global experts, we accelerate transformative urban initiatives that aim to make Indian cities thriving, equitable, and low-carbon places that benefit both people and the planet.
**About the Role**
As a Program Associate – Communication and Event Management, you will play a crucial role in managing outreach programs for WRI India. You will work closely with the communications, accounts, and budget team, liaising with vendors, hotels, hospitality vendors, and partners. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing communication collaterals for various types and scales of events.
* Coordinating end-to-end logistics management, including facilitating travel and accommodation arrangements for invitees.
* Guiding communication between WRI India and external vendors, maintaining strong relationships.
* Facilitating internal coordination within WRI India’s different functions and maintaining project management sheets, checklists, and trackers.
* Documenting insights from events and identifying areas for improvement to enhance future events.
* Facilitating coordination between different partners.
* Writing content for event outreach, such as emailers and social media posts.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
* **Education:** Post-graduate degree with a communications/management background.
* **Experience:** 2 to 4 years of experience in related fields.
* **Skills:**
* Strong interpersonal skills and an analytical approach.
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* Highly process-oriented with an eye for detail.
* Ability to self-govern and manage time independently.
* Excellent English writing skills.
* Knowledge of any other Indian language is a plus.
* Comfort with quantitative data/analysis and MS Excel.
* Proficiency in documentation with expertise in MS Word and PowerPoint.
* Editing/proofing, writing, and Canva knowledge are an added advantage.
**Salary and Benefits**
* **Salary:** INR 8,00,000 to 9,00,000 CTC per annum. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.
