**Job Description: Program Associate (Consultant) – Childhood Friendly Cities**
**Location:** Bengaluru, India
**Experience Required:** 3-4 years in urban design, planning, or related field with a post-graduate degree.

Associated with World Resources Institute (WRI), WRI India works across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to support transformative urban initiatives.
**Role Overview:**
As a Program Associate (Consultant), you will support Indian cities in enhancing public spaces and transport systems as part of the Nurturing Neighbourhoods Challenge. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will engage with Bengaluru and Warangal to develop projects aimed at improving the wellbeing of young children and their caregivers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Conduct project activities including surveys, data collection, and report preparation.
– Engage with government agencies, partners, and local communities to formulate and implement projects.
– Support capacity building and policy advocacy for sustainable urban development.
– Develop knowledge products such as training modules and toolkits.
– Collaborate on research related to early childhood development, public spaces, and transport.
**Qualifications:**
– Post-graduation in Urban Design/Planning or a relevant field.
– Experience in designing streets, public spaces, and related activities.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe software, Microsoft Office Suite, and 3D visualization tools.
– Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Fluency in Telugu/Kannada and English is preferred.
**Salary:** INR 9,50,000 to INR 12,50,000 CTC.
**Duration:** 6 months (extendable based on performance).
**Start Date:** Immediate.
