The Digital Health team at PATH is currently seeking a ‘Program Associate – Coordination ’ on Third Party Payroll- Randstad to support the operations and activities of the ‘YO.DH’ community, which stands for Youth Ownership of Digital Health.

YO.DH:

YO.DH is an initiative aimed at developing the next generation of leaders in digital health to spearhead the advancements in this field. Members of the YO.DH community are young professionals in the digital health space. Its overarching mission is to establish a dynamic network of professionals and offer them a space for peer-learning, representation, and collaboration. By emphasizing the inclusion of youth in digital health dialogue, YO.DH defies the conventional reliance on established experts.

YO.DH members benefit from a spectrum of offerings, including mentorship from accomplished Digital Health experts, targeted networking opportunities, a comprehensive repository of digital health resources, interactive learning sessions, and guided field visits.

Role: 

As a communications specialist dedicated to community processes, the role will focus on engagement and content management. The role also involve close collaboration with YO.DH volunteers to conceptualize and plan various initiatives, including podcasts, learning sessions, social media engagement, and communications with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Communication Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to formulate comprehensive communication strategies tailored to enhance member engagement within the YO.DH community.
  • Analyze and adapt strategies based on evolving community dynamics and feedback.

Content Curation and Management:

  • Create a content calendar of YO.DH, ensuring its relevance, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Develop contents for YO.DH platform, including posts for social media posts, blogs, documents, and emailers (among others).
  • Lead the development of podcasts, including ideation, curation and logistical coordination. 
  • Work closely with the PATH Communications team to develop and deliver content and outreach material 

Volunteer Coordination:

  • Work closely with YO.DH volunteers to plan and execute community initiatives.
  • Create strategies to improve the volunteer pool over time and ensure productive engagement. 

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Support the project manager in developing and maintaining effective communication channels with stakeholders, including donors, project partners, mentors, and subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate and manage YO.DH events and outreach activities, including overseeing logistics, and coordination with vendors and agencies. 

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of communication strategies and engagement initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximize impact. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 2+ years in communications, content creation and management.
  • Experience of working in development sector, public health is preferable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • A passion for digital health and community engagement.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
