Digital Health Team
The Digital Health team at PATH, India bolsters efforts focused on the integration of technology in healthcare, to provide sustainable and effective healthcare services. The team is actively working towards making universal health coverage a reality by incorporating digital innovations in India’s primary health care centers. This includes enhancing the use of telemedicine, creating dashboards to aid decision-making, and creating improved methods to ameliorate service quality and delivery. Through these interventions, the team hopes to empower various stakeholders in the health ecosystem such as health professionals and patients by enabling seamless navigation and access to quality care.
In addition to implementing novel tech-based solutions, the team strives to scale digital health initiatives by leveraging existing technologies that can be adapted through collaborations with partners such as technology start-ups, and works on building partnerships with governments, donors, funders, and others to unify the health landscape.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Digital Health program officer to help design the digital health interventions across various program verticals.
- Engage with the project team for refining the implementation of digital health interventions in the identified sites and projects.
- Assist the team with the formulation of transformative ideas for the primary health ecosystem in the state through digital interventions including primary/secondary research, landscaping assessment, conceptualization, design, and implementation oversight
- Provide support to the project team and program officer for effective, timely, successful, and impactful implementation of digital health interventions
- Create and maintain digital health documentation including strategy, development, implementation, and evaluation frameworks. This would also include preparing reports, presentations, knowledge documents, etc.
- Participate and represent PATH in key meetings and workshops with external stakeholders including government, donors, and partners
- Support with knowledge management initiatives and digital literacy sessions for the external stakeholders, partners, and PATH
Required Experience
- Graduate or postgraduate in Computer science, IT, digital health, or public
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a complex environment
- Comfortable with collaborating across all levels of leadership within the organization
- Primary and secondary research and analytical skills. The ability to analyze health data will be desirable
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
- Excellent command over MS Office especially excel and an overall decent computer literacy
Duration: 1 year (On 3rd party payroll)
Must have legal authorization to work in India.
