PATH seeks to recruit a Program Associate. S/he will be responsible for supporting the Senior Program Officer in coordination of all the activities in different projects and ensuring the timelines are met as per project plans.
 

The position will work with PATH’s Family Health Program team. The family health program looks to deliver key projects and initiatives on Maternal and Child Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Nutrition. PATH is strengthening the Family Planning Supply Chain, Rice Fortification, Comprehensive Lactation Management centers, landscaping for Anemia interventions, Respiratory Care management, and Tools for Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses. The associate will work across programs to support the family health team in undertaking different activities. The associate will work on exciting problems in the Family Health domain to contribute to impacting millions of lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Curate quality documentation for different project activities, prepare reports, document case studies, presentations, and best practices.
  • Conceptualization and planning of project activities along with the Senior project team.
  • Support the team in writing project proposals and further the growth of the family health team’s vision.
  • Conduct literature reviews, create knowledge products, and support the team in dissemination of PATH’s work on different platforms.
  • Support the team in fulfilling the regulatory requirements for the projects including the required ethical and regulatory approvals from relevant institutions.
  • Monitor the technical aspects of project activities through field visits, meetings with government officials, field level healthcare providers and partners, whenever required.
  • Liaison with partners, donors, and other required stakeholders.
  • Develop data collection tools and analysis plans for various projects.
  • Develop and implement robust context-appropriate systems for data collection, quality assurance, analysis and reporting on activity outputs/outcomes and program quality.
  • Model PATH’s values and people philosophy.
  • Any other work assigned as per the project requirement.
  • Collect and interpret data from multiple sources and its applications.
  • Manage and work with various stakeholders.
  • Create dashboards and reports of analysed data.
  • Synthesize insights from projects and develop knowledge management documents.
  • Support the PATH team in other tasks when required. 

Required skills and experience:

  • Master’s degree in public health/ Nutrition/ Statistics/ Health Economics/Economics/ Computer Science.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, project documentation, training, and project implementation with a thorough understanding of MLE tools and concepts, reporting requirements and data quality assurance methods in public health settings.
  • Proficient at data analysis using MS Excel. Familiarity and experience with at least one of the following: Tableau, STATA, SQL, SPSS, Epi-Info, Stata, MS Access, Python will be preferred.
  • Strong system thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent ability to articulate oral and written technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences and demonstrated track record of producing high quality, well-written deliverables in a timely fashion.  
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of other Indian languages will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, coordination, supportive supervision and monitoring of public health projects desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a complex environment.
  • Well-organized and able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Experience in working with the development sector/ INGOs would be preferred.
