**Job Title:** Program Associate – Integrated Transport

**Job Summary:**
WRI India seeks a motivated Program Associate to contribute to high-quality research within the Cities & Transport Team. This role involves collaborating on research designs, structuring research pieces, and working on diverse projects related to sustainable transportation and air quality. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation of new research and analysis to inform policy and practice for sustainable mobility, aligning with WRI India’s strategic plan.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist research teams in conducting research on sustainable transport, electric mobility, and policy, collaborating with internal and external partners.
* Organize, review, and summarize literature, policy documents, and data from various sources.
* Develop outlines and publication plans for research papers, adhering to WRI India’s Research and Data Integrity (RDI) standards.
* Draft research papers following approved publication plans.
* Conduct or advise on data exploration, survey design, quantitative research, and provide analytical insights.
* Apply policy analysis and data-oriented methodologies to identify gaps and areas for reform.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
* Master’s degree in a research-focused social science or transport planning discipline.
* Minimum two years of full-time post-masters work experience in transport planning, policy research, or social science research.
* Excellent research and academic writing skills in English (two writing samples required).
* Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including primary and secondary data collection and analysis.
* Knowledge of policy analysis and data-oriented methodologies.
* Experience with mobility-related projects is preferred.
* Experience with spatial analytical tools like ArcGIS/QGIS or other open-source applications is desirable.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
INR 10,50,000 to 12,50,000 CTC per annum (commensurate with experience and skills).
