Comprehensive Primary Healthcare (CPHC) program
PATH is a leader in raising the global profile of critical health challenges and priming innovations for scale. Operating at the nexus of product development and system innovation, PATH works with countries and multi-sectoral partners to reimagine PHC through a people-centered, data-driven approach that gives everyone a fair chance at health and well-being. Given the increasing prioritization of PHC in India, the overall objective of PATH is to contribute to the success of comprehensive PHC program of the Government of India by bridging the existing gaps identified. We aim to achieve this by undertaking the following approach that focuses on undertaking a comprehensive approach for both rural and urban separately.
Responsibilities
- Conduct background literature review from data/ information available in public domain or as made available by the PATH program teams.
- Participate in consultations with the PATH program teams and other key informants to capture the strategies and interventions in various projects, lessons learnt, anecdotal events, etc. for documentation.
- Draft knowledge products as per the guidance from Lead – Knowledge Management and in consultation with the relevant program team members.
- Undertake layout of KM products in PATH/ project templates, aligned with PATH and donor branding guidelines.
- Support in knowledge dissemination, which could include identifying knowledge sharing platforms, development of collaterals for knowledge sharing (like presentation decks) and facilitating organizing and conduct of knowledge sharing sessions.
- Depending on the requirement of the program –Facilitate capacity needs assessment on various facets of CPHC and provide insights of capacity gaps among various cadres of health workforce
- Develop an overall or individualized cadre-based training content and capacity building plan
- Prepare, in consultation with the program team, training and learning materials to meet the capacity gaps identified
- Support the program team in developing training calendars, matching budgets and training agenda and in identifying resource persons to deliver trainings on CPHC
- Coordinate with program team to understand emerging training needs and upgrade training materials, as and when required
- Develop learning materials and job aids to reinforce the key takeaways from training in conjunction with program teams and the communication team
- Oversee the development and printing of training and learning materials.
- Closely co-ordinate, as required, with government, national and international stakeholders working in CPHC.
- Provide periodic updates to the organization’s leadership, KM team members and program teams on progress with respect to the work assigned.
- Support the program teams in reporting of program initiatives, including training and other capacity building initiatives.
- Available to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Any other work, as assigned from time to time, by the knowledge management focal person.
Required Experience
- Post Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism/ Development Communications/ Management/ Social Sciences/ Public Health, or equivalent
- 6-8 years of experience in literature review, documentation, and development of knowledge products and capacity-strengthening products
- Creative English writing skills. Reading, writing, and editing fluency in Hindi is desirable
Computer proficiency with familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents. - Presentation and participation in international workshops and conferences is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player.
Must have legal authorization to work in India.
