**Job Description: Program Associate/Senior Program Associate – Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI)**
**Location:** Gurugram
**About the Company:**
The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is dedicated to building a healthier India by strengthening education, research, and policy in public health. Established in 2006 as a public-private initiative, PHFI operates through regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and centers focused on key public health themes. Governed by a board of distinguished professionals, PHFI works to enhance institutional capacity across India.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Develop and implement member engagement strategies for the Health and Environment Leadership Platform (HELP), including tool development and resource management.
– Collaborate with regional representatives and partners to expand membership and engage members in initiatives.
– Organize network meetings, maintain member databases, and gather feedback for strategic planning.
– Support global teams through attendance at calls and effective administration of the network.
– Develop communications strategies and content to promote member engagement.
– Manage and develop the HELP website, including promotion and engagement efforts.
– Facilitate virtual communities of practice on priority areas like climate change.
– Conduct training for hospitals on initiatives and tools.
– Participate in global calls, project team meetings, and report preparation.
– Engage in research and implementation activities in environmental health.
– Document project activities and prepare reports, proposals, and policy briefs.
– Travel as required and undertake other tasks assigned by the PI/Project Director.
**Qualifications:**
– **Essential:** Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Public Health (Environmental Health), or a relevant field.
**Experience Required:**
– Around 10 years of relevant experience in environmental health, public health, or related fields.
