About the Program:

MyQuest’s objective is to provide a holistic development platform for young people as well as provide a lifelong, continuous learning opportunity to disadvantaged youth. We use content, pedagogy and technology, to drive the delivery of teaching and learning. Through our signature blended learning approach we develop critical life-work skills that are critical for success in the 21st century. Our curriculum includes media elements like games, videos, audio and visuals as well as use of dictionaries for vernacular translations. 

Quest Alliance is looking for a Program Associate for coordinating all the activities of the assigned region. You will be reaching out to all the institutions in the region and will be responsible for the smooth implementation of the program.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Program Implementation:

  • Be the POC for the women’s 2.0 program in Delhi and take responsibility for delivering effectively, reviewing implementation, and monitoring within the agreed standards.
  • Ensure a work plan is in place for the placement cell and career clubs and ensure everyone can contribute and implement it accordingly.
  • Identify and develop learning within the program and facilitate the capturing of these learnings.
  • Visit the Institute to support trainers, career clubs, and facilitators with curriculum planning and content delivery.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly review meetings with program stakeholders- center heads, trainers, etc.
  • Ensure that the trainers and centers gradually become independent and adept at using the content
  • Participate and contribute to capacity-building activities.
  • Conduct sessions physically and virtually with students.
  • Organize and conduct career connect events and activities
  • Guide, mentor, and manage Fellows facilitators. Ensure a work plan is in place for your team, and everyone can contribute and implement it accordingly.
  • Enroll Facilitators and students on Quest App and Bharat Skill portal and ensure to access Quest Digital content
  • Facilitate, co-facilitate, and contribute offline and online in MyQuest capacity-building initiatives with lead Facilitators.
  • Support operations and logistics involved in meetings, workshops, and events

Relationship Management – Stakeholders (Internal and External)

  • Develop an effective working relationship with the Govt. Authority, Principals, and trainers.
  • Contributing to Industry Engagement Strategies
  • Building employers network through meetings, minimum 1 employer in a month
  • Co-ordinating & facilitating industry engagement activities – Inviting employers to do guest lectures at Institutes & organizing placement events
  • Work closely with the Placement coordinator and call out the required support

Documentation and Reporting 

  • Ensure the monitoring data reaches the M&E focal point on time.
  • Support coordination of baseline/ end line and other assessments 
  • Ensure students’ data is updated in the center database
  • Make sure trainers and principals at the institute know about our work through simple monthly reports
  • Provide regular written and verbal reports tracking progress against the work plan and implementation schedules
  • Use the appropriate M&E tools for reporting I
  • Ensure all the program reports, including case studies; photographs reach the M&E focal point at the stipulated time.
  • Documentation of center, trainer, and student success stories
  • Following up with ITIs to share data of students and Institutes as required by the M&E framework.
  • Participate  and contribute to team meetings and reviews
  • Support all reporting requirements such as quarter reviews, annual reviews

Support any other activities related to My QUEST Program whenever needed 

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work/Rural Management or other development disciplines, with 2-4 years of work experience preferably in the Education/Vocational Training sector
  • Good communication skills in English and the regional language
  • Ability to draft compelling reports grounded in data
  • Ability to train facilitators and youths for the vocational training program
  • Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
  • Knowledge of issues in training space and the social development sector in India.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
