Quest Alliance is looking for a Program Support Associate for coordinating all the activities with ITIs in the region. You will be reaching out to all the ITIs in your region and will be responsible for the smooth implementation of the program.

Role Description

Programme Implementation and Quality

  • Take responsibility for effective program delivery, review implementation, and monitor within the agreed standards.
  • Ensure there is a proper work plan in place for your region (zone) and you are able to follow and deliver accordingly.
  • Be well versed with the content/curriculum of MY QUEST so as to ensure proper training delivery and support in ITIs.
  • Regular visits to ITIs to deliver training and support to Facilitators.
  • Support the Trainers in ITIs to use our content.
  • Support in strengthening placement initiatives, pool of employers, and actively share jobs  with Principals, Group Instructors, JAPOs through digital placement portals
  • Ensure Last mile learner facing QuestApp campaigns undertaken to strengthen the uptake of employability Skills curriculum across all ITIs, through support from the ES trainers
  • Ensure that the Trainers and ITIs gradually become independent and adept at using the content.
  • Participate and contribute in Training of Trainers.
  • Ensure the region (zone) deliverables and targets are fulfilled within the stipulated time frame.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly review meetings with program stakeholders- ITI Principals/Superintendents, Trainers/Instructors, Placement Officers etc to ensure quality delivery of programs.

Relationship Management and Collaboration

  • Develop effective working relationships with ITI Principals, Trainers and Placement Officers for effective program implementation.
  • Support Thematic Teams-Placement, Training, Documentation, Data Tech etc in your ITI region (zone) and be the POC for your ITI region (zone).
  • Ensure region (zone) needs are met and fulfilled with the support of Thematic Teams.
  • Ensure ITI Stakeholders engage and contribute to our implementation program.
  • Find solutions to address problems in your ITI region engaging ITI stakeholders thereby ensuring collaboration and quality.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Ensure the monitoring data of the team that you manage reaches the M&E focal point on time.
  • Support coordination of baseline/ endline and other assessments
  • Ensure students data is updated in center database
  • Make sure trainers and principal at the institute know about our work through simple monthly reports
  • Provide regular written and verbal reports tracking progress against the work plan and implementation schedules
  • Use the appropriate M&E tools for reporting
  • Ensure all the program report including case studies, photographs reaches the M&E focal point at the stipulated time
  • Documentation of centre, trainer and student success stories
  • Following up with ITI’s to share data of students and Institutes as required by M&E framework.

Others

  • Participate in team meetings and reviews, staff engagement activities
  • Seek regular capacity building support from team
  • Adhere to all the finance and HR policies of the organisation
  • Uphold the values of Quest Alliance
  • Support donor visits

Other duties as required. Occasionally working on weekends and holidays for which time compensatory leave can be taken.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work/Rural Management or other development disciplines, with 3-4 years of work experience preferably in the Education/Vocational Training sector
  • Good communication skills in English, Hindi and Haryanvi languages. Knowledge of haryana languages will be an added bonus.
  • Ability to draft compelling reports grounded in data
  • Ability to train facilitators and youths for the vocational training program
  • Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
  • Knowledge of issues in the vocational training space and the social development sector in India.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, and the Internet.
