**Job Description: Program Manager – Decentralized Renewable Energy and Climate Change**
**Job Location:** Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

**Experience Required:**
– Post-graduate degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy Technologies, Public Policy, etc.
– At least 6 years of experience managing field programs in Social Entrepreneurship, Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE), and Climate Change.
– Experience working with women entrepreneurs/SHGs in rural areas on livelihoods and DRE projects.
– Understanding of India’s energy policies and experience with government agencies preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Design and compile project proposals and pitch decks for donors.
2. Implement DRE and Climate Change projects, including the DEWEE initiative.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders, including government departments and vendors, to ensure project execution.
4. Monitor progress, conduct field visits, and prepare reports.
5. Support capacity building programs and provide technical insights to improve business performance of women enterprises.
**About the Project:**
PCI India is implementing the DEWEE initiative, supported by BMGF, HSBC, and GEAPP. The project aims to enhance income for 10,000 SHG women entrepreneurs through DRE adoption, focusing on THR production units owned by women.
