**About PxD:** PxD is a global non-profit organization dedicated to leveraging technology, data science, and behavioral economics to deliver targeted information to farmers in low- and middle-income countries.  Their evidence-based approach, utilizing randomized controlled trials, ensures impactful and cost-effective interventions that improve farmer incomes, environmental protection, and overall well-being.  PxD’s work in India is conducted in partnership with Behaviour Change Advisory Services (BCAS) LLP.

**Job Summary:**

PxD seeks a Program Manager to join its Digital Agriculture Project Management Unit (PMU), collaborating with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare (MoA&FW).  This role requires a proactive individual with strong project management skills and the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.  The successful candidate will focus on scaling digital agricultural initiatives, designing impactful and inclusive solutions, and possessing a strong understanding of digital technology adoption within government structures.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Relationship Management:** Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners (including project donors) and key Ministry of Agriculture personnel. Oversee public relations, networking, and publicity efforts to enhance PMU visibility and impact. Manage project contracts, grants, and sub-partner monitoring.

* **Strategic Communication:** Develop and manage project communication materials (briefs, reports, presentations). Design toolkits, frameworks, and templates to streamline project execution and stakeholder engagement. Contribute to PxD’s institutional knowledge management and internal learning initiatives.

* **Project Management:**  Lead end-to-end project implementation, including work plans, stakeholder communication, and budget management. Coordinate across research, technology, and program teams. Apply evidence-based insights to support Ministry of Agriculture initiatives. Oversee day-to-day project operations. Foster a team culture focused on continuous improvement. Supervise and mentor junior team members.

**Requirements:**

* MBA/MPP, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent industry-relevant qualification.

* Proven experience managing large programs and/or scaling individual projects.

* Experience in developing partnerships, communications, and outreach strategies.

* Experience hiring and supporting high-performance teams.

* Experience incorporating research-based evidence into user-centric program delivery, fostering a culture of continuous innovation.

* Exceptional organizational skills.

* Proactive problem-solving abilities.

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

**Employment Type:** Full-time (until November 30, 2025, with potential renewal subject to funding)
