**Job Description: Program Manager, Outreach – SELCO Foundation**

**Location:** Bengaluru  

**Duration:** Full Time (6 months probationary period)

**About SELCO Foundation:**  

SELCO Foundation is an open-source, not-for-profit organization dedicated to field-based R&D and ecosystem building for clean energy solutions aimed at alleviating poverty in tribal, rural, and urban poor areas. Collaborating with NGOs, entrepreneurs, and educational institutions across sectors like energy access, health, and livelihoods, SELCO works towards sustainable energy solutions linked to poverty eradication.

**EnergyForHealth Program Background:**  

This program aims to power 25,000 public health facilities in India by 2026 using renewable energy, aligning with SDGs 13 (climate action), 3 (health), and 7 (affordable energy). The goal is to improve healthcare quality in remote areas while reducing carbon intensity.

**Role Responsibilities:**  

– Develop and execute an outreach plan for disseminating EnergyForHealth program knowledge.

– Manage social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and content creation.

– Identify and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

– Create audience-driven content in various formats.

– Coordinate with internal teams for content finalization and publication.

– Support organizing outreach events across geographies.

**Qualifications & Experience:**  

– Master’s Degree in Media/Communication with 4+ years of relevant experience.

– Familiarity with research methodologies, global social development, health, and sustainable energy sectors is desirable.

– Proficiency in MS Office, communication skills, analytical abilities, and willingness to travel.
