**Job Description: Program Manager – Chennai**

**Position Summary:**
As a Program Manager in Chennai, you will lead and support a team of 16-20 Fellows, fostering their growth and effectiveness in under-resourced classrooms. You will act as a coach, manager, and mentor, ensuring Fellows achieve ambitious student outcomes while building leadership skills aligned with our mission.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Instructional Leadership:** Coach Fellows to enhance teaching methods, understand student contexts, and improve classroom environments.
– **Team Management:** Develop performance systems, provide differentiated support, and drive team engagement and retention.
– **Culture Building:** Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability among Fellows.
– **Strategic Operations:** Collaborate with school teams and stakeholders to create conducive learning environments and contribute to city projects.
**Qualifications:**
– **Minimum Experience:** 2-5 years of professional experience with mandatory teaching background. External applicants must have K-10 teaching experience.
– **Academic Achievements:** Fellows should meet specific student performance metrics, while Alumni candidates must demonstrate strong holistic growth.
– **Skills & Abilities:** Proven ability to work in challenging environments, collaborate effectively, and take initiative.
