**Job Description: Program Manager – Decentralized Renewable Energy and Climate Change**

**Position:** Program Manager – Decentralized Renewable Energy and Climate Change  

**Number of Positions:** 1  

**Qualifications:**  

– Post-graduate degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Renewable Energy Technologies, Public Policy, Entrepreneurship Development, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a Mechanical Engineer with relevant experience.  

**Experience Required:**  

– At least 6 years of experience managing field programs in Social Entrepreneurship, Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE), and Climate Change.  

– Proven ability to lead successful interventions at scale and generate impact.  

– Experience working with women entrepreneurs/SHGs in rural areas on livelihoods, DRE, and Climate Change.  

– Understanding of India’s energy policies and regulatory environment.  

– Preference for candidates with experience working with Government Departments/Agencies, particularly SRLMs and DRE projects.  

**Key Responsibilities:**  

1. Support the supervisor in managing DRE and Climate Change initiatives within the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (UPSRLM).  

2. Design and compile concept notes, project proposals, and pitch decks for donors.  

3. Implement DRE and Climate Change projects, including the DEWEE initiative.  

4. Organize capacity-building programs and coordinate with stakeholders, including UPSRLM and vendors.  

5. Monitor project progress, conduct field visits, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.  

6. Develop strategies for scaling interventions and track business performance of women enterprises.  

7. Prepare reports, attend meetings, and contribute to achieving program objectives.
