NSRCEL is the start-up incubator of IIM Bangalore. Over 585+ ventures have gone through the Incubation Programme and another 1300+ ventures have taken our Launchpad Program. NSRCEL is deeply committed to mobilizing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country to foster innovation and economic growth.

NSRCEL is also supported by Niti Aayog, Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

Additionally, NSRCEL has partners with corporates like Goldman Sachs, ICICI Securities, Maruti Suzuki, Capgemini and Kotak Mahindra Bank among others to support entrepreneurs in focused sectors like mobility, fintech, and social entrepreneurship.

What you will be doing

As a pivotal member of NSRCEL’s Impact Orbit Team you will play a critical role in influencing strategic decisions for the centre.

Social Impact Incubation & other responsibilities

• Nurture, Build & Serve portfolio of both non-profit & for-profit social impact startups
• Outreach, scouting, selection, and onboarding of impact startups.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to Design Structured Incubation Programs
• Plug Back problem solutions into the Incubator-Service Delivery model
• Connect entrepreneurs to relevant NSRCEL mentors or SMEs
• Set Milestones for the growth of ventures & appropriate grant disbursements
• Programs Sector Focus: Technology for Impact in Education, Livelihoods, Financial Inclusion, Healthcare, Agriculture and others
• Implement pilots in alternate finance models for both non-profit & for-profit impact
• Assist in Fundraising, Partnerships & Events for NSRCEL Social Incubation Team
• Specifically assist in Strategic onboarding of service providers for incubation & startups

What you will need to bring to the table

• Be an MBA, or post-graduate in Social Entrepreneurship / Social Work
• Overall experience of 5-7 years (relevant experience in non-profit incubation & program management)
• Have started a business or a non-profit or led an important org function, preferably in a social startup
• Evidence of partnership building, organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
• Prior experience in handling important stakeholders and large budgets
• Understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem along with relevant networks in India & beyond
• Have a bias for action
