The Education Alliance (TEA) is a non-profit organization that warmly welcomes all those who share our passion for providing high-quality education to every child in India. Headquartered in Delhi, we are committed to promoting system reform projects that help to ensure that all children in India have equitable access to quality education.
We support state education departments by deploying highly qualified teams that work with state and non-state actors to co-create solutions to improve the quality of education in government schools. We currently operate in five states (Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Tripura, and Punjab) and are proud to have a dedicated team of 40+ young professionals.

About Mission Ankur:
Mission Ankur is the flagship initiative aimed at enhancing foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) outcomes for students in grades 1-3 in Madhya Pradesh. Under the broader framework of the NIPUN Bharat Mission (2021-27), this role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the program to achieve the primary objective of creating an enabling environment that fosters FLN proficiency for 15 lakh students by 2026-27.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Program Manager to work on our academic initiatives and support the organization’s mission in the field of education and learning. The Program Manager will play a crucial role in shaping our academic strategy, content creation, overseeing program implementation, and ensuring the achievement of program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Strategy and Planning
- Work closely with the Program Lead and other stakeholders to develop a comprehensive program strategy and action plan aimed at transforming the educational landscape based on on-ground insights and industry best practices.
Content Creation
- Collaborate with program partners to anchor the creation of Teaching-Learning Materials (TLM) for students and teachers.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Design and implement a robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework that includes clear performance indicators, targets, and milestones for the academic programs
- Regularly track and report on program progress, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to ensure program success
Program Implementation
- Collaborate with government officials, educational institutions, partner organizations, and other stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
Communication & Documentation
- Documentation and communication related to program achievements/outcomes and program implementation through concept notes, presentations, reports, approval letters, etc.
- Documentation on on-ground learnings and knowledge received from external partners to support TEA’s internal capacity/knowledge building
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 4 years of work experience in education, curriculum development, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), experience in documentation, writing reports, proposals, and presentation skills
- Ability to coordinate between and build relationships with various stakeholders within the government and with partner organisations
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment, and maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate multiple simultaneous projects
- Demonstrated commitment to social impact/prior experience working in the social sector
- Innovative thinker with a strong interest in developing new ideas and championing those initiatives with senior stakeholders
Salary: 09+ LPA
