**Job Title:** Program Manager – Operations

**Location:** Bangalore, Karnataka, India

**About SELCO Foundation:**

SELCO Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty through the deployment of clean energy solutions in underserved areas of India.  Working collaboratively with social sector practitioners, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs, and educational institutions, SELCO Foundation links sustainable energy access to poverty eradication.  The organization engages in field-based research and development and ecosystem building to achieve its mission.

**Experience Required:** 4 to 10 years of experience in the development sector, with a focus on program implementation, project management, and operations.  Prior experience working with small/informal businesses is a plus.

**Role and Responsibilities:**

* Support the end-to-end implementation of programs across different geographical teams.

* Develop operational plans and tracking mechanisms for all scale projects/programs.

* Monitor and track project progress, actively resolving operational problems and issues.

* Monitor and track program budgets.

* Coordinate with program teams for procurement and smooth implementation.

* Work closely with the organization’s procurement team.

* Regularly visit the field to validate data, set up data collection and monitoring processes with program partners, and provide training/support to staff on data collection.

**Key Requirements:**

* Experience in the development sector.

* Knowledge of program implementation, project management, and operations.

* Interest and passion for development and poverty alleviation issues.

* Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple team members, community members, and other entities.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with grassroots stakeholders.

* Willingness to travel approximately 10 days per month (local and outstation).
