**Job Description: Program Manager, Outreach – SELCO Foundation**

 

**Location:** Bengaluru  

**Duration:** Full Time (6 months probationary period)

SELCO Foundation is an open-source, not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing clean energy solutions that alleviate poverty in tribal, rural, and urban poor areas. The foundation collaborates with social sector practitioners, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs, and educational institutions to link sustainable energy access to poverty eradication. Working across sectors such as energy access, health, and livelihoods, SELCO Foundation aims to provide sustainable energy solutions to underserved communities in India.

 

 

### **Role Overview**  

The Program Manager, Outreach will lead the development and execution of a robust outreach plan for disseminating learnings from the EnergyForHealth program. This role involves managing social media platforms, developing engaging content, identifying key stakeholders, and coordinating with internal teams to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate should be creative, entrepreneurial, and adept at communication and relationship management.

 

 

### **Key Responsibilities**  

– Develop and execute an outreach plan to disseminate knowledge from the EnergyForHealth program to external audiences, including government departments, international organizations, funders, and stakeholders.

– Manage social media accounts (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and create engaging content such as videos, articles, newsletters, and case studies.

– Identify and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders, maintaining a database for regular engagement.

– Develop audience-driven outreach materials in various formats, including written documents, photographs, illustrations, and animated videos.

– Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Learning and Documentation, Program teams) to finalize and publish content.

– Coordinate the organization of outreach events such as webinars, conferences, and live demos across geographies.

 

 

### **Qualifications & Experience**  

– Master’s Degree in Media and Communication with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Experience in the public health sector is advantageous.

– Familiarity with research methodologies for qualitative and quantitative studies.

– Understanding of global social development, livelihoods, health, and sustainable energy sectors.

– Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).

– Strong analytical and communication skills, with excellent written and interpersonal abilities.

– Willingness to travel to remote areas for field activities and stakeholder engagement.
