Position Summary

This position will be anchored in the People and Processes vertical of The Convergence Foundation with its core responsibility to plan and execute LEAP . LEAP: Leadership Excellence Academy Program is aimed towards building an immersive leadership development journey for senior leaders across the TCF network. The Program Manager has a unique opportunity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to launch and manage a new leadership program for the network.  This role is for those who have a passion for learning delivery and innovation, enjoy working in a start-up environment, be results focused and are energised by the idea of building exemplary leaders of the future that create impact.

This position will be responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of the Academy including training programs, assessments and managing individual leader journeys. You will be required to work with the leader for LEAP long with CXOs and senior leadership of organisations across the portfolio.  You are expected to have experience thinking strategically and acting operationally, and have experience working with all levels across the organization.

Responsibilities

The key roles and responsibilities of the role will be:

Program Design

  • Work closely with the LEAP core working group to support the design of the program including the structure, various components, details of the modules, calendar etc.
  • Be facilitator to build collaborations with the experts to understand the need, the outcome and hence design to cater to the cohort’s intended outcome
  • Build meaningful, collaborative partnerships with internal and external partners in Organisational Development, Learning and HR to effectively execute the modules during the program
  • Build partnerships for soft touch follow ups on various aspects of the programs like mentorship, projects etc .
  • Co-create the communications plan with the program head for the launch of the program and continuous engagement. Ensures that communication plan covers aspects to follow through the modules and build excitement and continuous engagement .

Program Delivery

  • Manage all aspects of program Delivery
  • Is the primary administrative contact for all stakeholders including faculty, participants and steering committee
  • Ensure an effective and high quality of logistics and participant experience throughout the program
  • Support the facilitators in developing leadership training materials
  • Support the session facilitators for effective delivery
  • Ensure quality delivery within the budget
  • Organise the event, activities and workshops with help from the team members
  • Support the team to design and execute an evaluation method to measure the effectiveness of LEAP
  • Support in effective execution of leadership baseline/endline – selecting
  • Executes the communication plan and creates collateral for the same as and when needed.
  • Captures the learning and feedback from the sessions and shares them as inputs to revise design and while executing the next part of the program

Desired Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

  • Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications and skills that are required for this role:
  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s from a top tier institution in human resources, organisation development, organisation effectiveness, adult learning or any related field.
  • 4+ years of program management with experience of understanding and developing learning and development programs
  • Strong understanding of adult learning and facilitation, best practices for leadership development
  • Excellent presentation/excel skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with external and internal audiences. .
  • Strong executional skills and ability to deliver within timelines.
  • Ability to be effective in a fast-paced and consensus-based work environment
  • Strong facilitation skills and knowledge & experience developing courses, creative concepts, scripts and storyboards will be preferred.

Compensation

Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s experience.
