**Job Description:**

 

The Program Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our program within a designated block (covering 150-200 villages with a population exceeding 150,000).  This role requires independent planning, problem-solving, and extensive daily field visits.  The Program Officer will serve as the area leader, operating under the principle of “freedom with responsibility.”  Key responsibilities include:

 

* Planning and implementing integrated interventions at the block level.

* Independently planning activities, troubleshooting issues, and conducting routine program monitoring.

* Analyzing data to improve program delivery and develop new initiatives.

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with village, block, and district government officials.

* Fostering trust and collaboration with frontline workers and the community.

* Contributing to broader organizational goals and collaborating with team members across locations and departments.

 

 

**Experience Required:**

 

2-5 years of work experience in development organizations, corporate settings, or management consulting.  Experience handling large datasets, managing diverse stakeholders, and leading independent initiatives is essential.

 

**Skills Required:**

 

* 2-3 years of grassroots experience working with frontline workers (FLWs) and communities.

* Strategic and analytical thinking.

* Data-driven problem-solving approach.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills in Hindi and English.

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

* Openness to learning and professional development.
