Primary Role of the position:

  • Plan, execute and monitor Returnees (Indian Nationals) Reintegration Program/s implementation in India
  • Support the implementation of all programme components in providing reintegration assistance to Indian National returnees from Europe 

Key Accountabilities; same being indicative and not exhaustive

Programme Management

  • Working closely with the European Partner Institutions (EPI) (Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Austria, France) in reintegrating the Indian National returnee from above mentioned countries of destination to India.
  • Regularly update returnees’ database, periodic reporting on the progress and follow up for smooth reintegration of Indian returnees with local partners.
  • Provide handholding support through basic need – based counselling to the returnees returned from European countries
  • Regular visits to their place of residence
  • Peer group discussion with the returnees on exchange of information.
  • Review the supporting documents of the returnees to process the reintegration assistance.
  • Reporting of returnee cases to the concerned EPIs.
  • Monitor reintegration progress and financial status of returnees.
  • Maintain documentation of each Indian returns including scanning of all documents as per requirement. 

Partnership Management

  • Support in organizing capacity enhancement program for partners providing reintegration services and returnees for peer group discussion (FDGs, home visits).
  • Respond to queries from clients, partners at national and international level.
  • Identifying new partner for the reintegration programme and providing hand holding support.
  • Organizing value-based Capacity building Training Programs for the field partners.
  • Monitoring visits to program intervention areas.
  • To represent organization in various international conferences and workshops to showcase organization’s work in migration field.
  • Organize quarterly review meetings with Partners and individual returnee counselling 

Knowledge Management

  • Supports in development of knowledge product of the programme and also its dissemination plan.
  • Support dissemination of knowledge (making of documentary), best practices, learning (case stories: returnees) and practice development.
  • Ensure effective documentation of best practices and using the same for awareness.

  • Computing Skills: MS -Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Word, Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom
  • Open to tech-smart ways of working. Prior experience of working with Apps will be preferred

Qualification / Work Experience:  Graduate or PG Degree in MSW / Social Sciences or Equivalent Qualification with 2 – 3 yrs. of work experience in similar role in development organization with exposure to managing refugees, rehabilitation aspects of development programs/ projects with knowledge of international /national/local statutory compliances as applicable.

Salary: CTC INR 35,000/- per month
